Adventure Pack

The pack was pretty rambunctious on today's hike.  Rucksack and Roger Roger - who are usually very good at coming when called - were wandering with little regard for my attempts to round them up.  Meanwhile, Coco was amped and really wanted to pull ahead to follow scents she was sniffing out along the trail.  Benny and Milo were a bit more mellow, excpet Milo slipped his collar a couple times before I tightened it up a bit; but when he did get out of his collar he was fairly easy to round up.

Play Pack

Thompson stuck with the pack more today.  Benny tried to get him to play and Thompson hopped toward him, which sent Benny running.  I encouraged them to keep it up but then they just wanted to be pet.  Sputnik met a lookalike and the two of them were pleasant at first but then started hovering around each other with high tension and Sputnik started flashing his teeth, which I interrupted with short "shh!"s that got Sputnik's attention.  Most of the rest of the time, Sputnik and Mamacita had fun wrestling and running around together.  Stella took it easy at the beginning of our visit but then I got her chasing sticks, which Benny and Sputnik both joined in for.  After that, Stella was eager to play fetch with a tennis ball and Sputnik chased down a few throws as well.  Stella also had a blast wiggling around in the snow.
