Leader of the Pack

Coco and Rucksack tired each other out during today's hike.  They ran and ran together as if they were attached at the hip, checking out scents together and playing tug-of-war over various sticks.  The play continued when we first arrived at the dog park, but they eventually split up as Rucksack became interested in chasing down a basketball that I kicked around for him while Coco was learning to fetch with a tennis ball which she could actually fit in her mouth.  By the end of the day, both were lying down in the packmobile with sleepy eyes, ready to go home for naptime.
