I played hide-and-seek again with Coco during the hike this morning. She didn't run past me at all, but I also didn't find very good hiding places - usually just behind a tree. A few times she didn't even come running; she just took a few steps to the side so she could get a better angle to see behind the tree at a distance. It's so amazing how young ones gradually figure out more and more things about their environment and how it works - things that we human adults take for granted. It's awesome to see that development through a puppy's eyes by watching how she copes with different situations.
At the park, Coco wrestled around with lots of different dogs: Oona, Buzz, and the black puppy from earlier this week were all there. Rucksack had fun running around with a black Irish Wolfhound mix named Stella. The two of them licked faces a bit and later Rucksack was licking faces with Buzz. He's such a lover! We also played plenty of fetch, of course.
