Toskey and Coco had a great time chasing each other around during today's hike.  Toskey has gotten used to being part of my pack and doesn't wander too far off anymore; she's also very excited to greet me at the door now that she knows that me showing up = off-leash hike.  She especially had fun teasing Coco with a stick.  She'd come right up to Coco with it then turn and run, with Coco close behind.  After a minute she would drop the stick and wait for Coco to catch up, then grab it up right before Coco got to it.

At the park, Rucksack fetched a lot of tennis balls.  He saw Keeyush, who licked his face, and he licked hers right back.  Coco played with Oona again today, as well as Anabelle.  She had a couple brief encounters with other dogs who seemed to be playing nice at first but then got a bit growly and aggressive.  Their owners were quick to step in and get their dogs' attention, and I had Coco come to me to make sure she was ok.  Within seconds she was relaxed again and ready to go play.  It's good that she's been getting so many opportunities to socialize with other dogs, so she can feel comfortable enough to let things like that roll off her back.  She came across the same dogs now and then during the rest of the visit and they got along fine the rest of the time.

Greg - Thanks so much for taking such wondeful care of Toskey! We know she must love her hikes because she's VERY tired when we get home! I'm so glad to hear that she understands were she's going when you come to pick her up! Thanks again - Lauren

Toskey is a pleasure to take out! She's great with her hiking partner Coco, and I love her expressive eyes! She gets lots of exercise on our hikes as she's always running around and exploring, so I'm not surprised that she's tired after!
