Adventure Pack

Milo had a wandering spirit on the hike today.  Benny was curious about where his packmate was going but came back to the pack when I called him; Milo, on the other hand, was feeling more independent so when he finally did return he spent the remainder of the hike on the leash.  We found a good stick on the trails that I gave to Coco to carry for a while.  After Coco lost interest, Benny had a turn to carry it but he left it behind so I found a new one.  Roger Roger took the next turn carrying the stick, then Milo, and then Rucksack.  Milo and Rucksack both tried to steal the stick away from Roger Roger but I had them leave it to him.

Play Pack

The pack moved together through the park today, including Thompson, who often wanders off on his own.  Sadie and Mama ran together as we made our way around the perimeter of the park.  Mama and Benny were both very excited to greet a fluffly, black dog who came over to say hello - each of them bowing and dancing playfully as they sniffed their new friend.  Sadie played a bit of fetch and her enthusiasm rubbed off on Benny who came over and chased down the ball a couple times himself.
