Rucksack found a huge branch to carry on the hike today.  I don't think it was quite as heavy as the log he had last week, but it was certainly unwieldly.  We came across some other dogs, and two little ones were very interested in Mogul.  The tops of their heads didn't even come up to his stomach as they stood under him while they sniffed him out.  Meanwhile, Rucksack was play-bowing and jumping around with a another dog that was with them.

Coco and Rucksack tumbled around together at the park.  Oona was there again today and Coco played with her alot, too.  I just posted a photo of the two of them shrouded in the tall grass.  Coco got a little nick on the inside of her back right leg at some point during her play.  She wasn't bothered by it at all but I cleaned it out with some hydrogen peroxide before dropping her off, just to be safe.  Mogul danced around with another dog a bit, but but they didn't end up really playing.  This seems to happen a lot with Mogul; when he finds a dog that he wants to play with he'll spin around and hop about playfully, and the other dog will seem interested for a moment, but then their playfulness fizzles.  I look forward to him finding a dog who will really give him a good chase, because that seems to be what he's looking for.
