Leader of the Pack

There were a lot of grade schoolers out on Chautauqua this morning during the hike with Coco.  Everytime we passed a group, Coco greeted them and they all ooh'd and ahh'd at how cute she is.  I played more hide-and-seek with her, and one time she went running right past the rock I hid behind, way down the trail we had come from, before I whistled again and she she came bounding back to find me.  When she found me another time, she sat right in my lap and didn't want to budge.  We hung out for a minute before I prodded her off and we kept moving.

The theme of today's park visit was thievery - stick thievery to be exact:  Chelsea stole a stick from Rucksack; Rucksack and another dog had a long tug-of-war over a stick until Rucksack finally came away with it; Buzz stole a stick from Chelsea after a stand-off where they both had their mouth on it for a couple minutes but niether of them budged an inch; Coco chased Rucksack for a stick but he did a good job of playing keep-away.
