Leader of the Pack

Toskey had her first day out with the Adventure Pack today!  She was joined by Coco for our hike.  Toskey liked to run up ahead a bit, anticipating where we were headed, and Coco got tired out following her around and trying to keep up.  Every once in a while I would turn around or head down a different path, because I wanted Toskey to keep in mind that she shouldn't wander off too far ahead.  When she realized I wasn't coming up behind her, she booked it back to me and got a treat.  By the end of the hike, she was keeping well in sight of me.

Coco was great about sticking close by throughout the hike.  After the hike, she got a chance to wrestle around with Rucksack when we picked him up for the Play Pack.

Rucksack's Human Dad stopped by the park today.  We talked about Rucksack's penchant for carrying sticks.  Some big branches had fallen off of a tree at the park due to the incredibly windy conditions, and Rucksack tried to carry one - leaves and all.  He managed to drag it a few feet, but it was too big even for him to carry.

Rucksack and Chelsea both had a lot of fun with a young Rhodesian Ridgeback who was eager to play, and who had a nose for the treats I was carrying with me.
