Leader of the Pack

During our walk today, I noticed a long row of completely empty bicycle racks by Stazio ballfield, and it gave me an idea.  I took Chelsea and Mogul to the racks and had them follow me as we weaved through them, side to side.  They both had a little trouble following me on the first few weaves, trying to just walk alongside of the racks instead of going between them; but halfway through it they had the rhythm.  We went down and back and at the end of it I gave them each a treat for doing so well!

The park was full of dogs today, and Mogul, Chelsea, Misha, and Sophia all had a lot of fun.  Misha and Mogul were both very interested in a partially-deflated basketball that someone had brought to the park.  They both love to play the game where I kick around a tennis ball in front of me as they dance around in anticipation until I give it a good kick off in one direction and they can chase it - today we played the jumbo version of that game!  Chelsea lied down and chewed cheeks with Mogul and another dog with very similar coloring.  Sophia and Misha got in a good run with one another right before the end of our visit.

All in all, a great day!
