Adventure Pack

The trail was pretty empty today, presumably due to the cold, damp conditions.  Milo, Coco, Benny, Rucksack, and Roger Roger didn't seem to mind it, though.  Roger Roger again took an interest in Milo and nosed and nibbled at his ears as they walked together.  Milo put up with it for a while until he finally gave his puppy packmate an irritated snart and Roger Roger got the message.  Of course, he just turned his attention to his brother Rucksack and did his best to earn the title "ankle-biter".  Benny walked at the front of the pack more today rather than hanging behind as he often does.  Coco was very calm for most of the hike but then a switch flipped during the last 20 minutes and she was hopping around all over the place.

Play Pack

Mama and Benny had a great time running and dodging around together.  It's been a very long time since I've seen Benny as playful as he was today.  He sometimes has goofy, playful spurts when his packmates are running around but they are usually short-lived.  He and Mama had lots of play breaks today, though.  Thompson is definitely getting more into the rhythm of things.  Today, he followed me all around the park without ever going back to wait at the gate.  He jogged along with me and his packmates as we went around the perimeter of the park.  He also found a couple dogs who caught his interest and he gave them a good sniff.
