Adventure Pack

Sputnik and Roger Roger had fun wrestling around again today.  Sputnik also played keep-away from Benny with a stick that the two of them had spent a little while sniffing and contemplating beforehand.  Sputnik just kept spinning in circles in one direction while Benny followed right behind the stick.  We still have some work to do on greeting other dogs calmly without rushing over and swarming them.  Rucksack and Oliver are usually the first to perk up and stand at attention when they see another dog down the trail; Sputnik sometimes also notices and drops into a stalking posture as we approach.

Play Pack

Thompson made a friend at the park today - well, maybe more of a fan than a friend.  The excited pup kept sitting in front of him and nosing and pawing at his face enthusiastically while Thompson did his best to be polite while also telling the pup, "Chill out."  Coco and Mama both came to Thompson's rescue when they ran over and drew the pups attention away into playing with them.  Benny joined in with the play and dropped into big play-bows as the other pups ran around.  He still doesn't have the confidence to get into the middle of it and lead a run like his packmates sometimes do but it's great to see when he decides to get in on the play.  Coco and Mama had a great time running around together today.  Mama also had fun with her Bassett Hound friend Lola who was at the park.  Yoda found a friend in a white and tan Greyhound mix; the two of them chased and Yoda dodged side-to-side goofily when his play partner got cornered or just turned to run by him the other way.
