Adventure Pack

We came across a pair of horses on the trail today, whose presence made the whole pack very alert.  We pulled off to the side of the trail to let the horses and their riders pass.  Roger Roger was especially concerned about the strange creatures and barked a few times.  Milo, on the other hand, was totally mellow and barely took notice of the other four-leggers.  Coco, Benny and Rucksack all watched them pass with a poised posture, prepared to react to any unexpected moves.  After the horses passed us we came across some horses grazing in a neighboring field and I took the opportunity to bring the pack over and try to get them more used to the presence of the horses.  Before long, they were all lying down in the grass just several yards away from a couple horses.

Play Pack

Benny and Thompson wandered the park together with me.  A couple young pups came over to Benny and gave him lots of kisses while he stood still and pretended not to notice them.  Thompson went off on his own now and then and just calmly hung out by some other dogs near the water spigot.  He seems to be getting more comfortable in the packmobile with his packmates, judging by how he lied down with a very relaxed and casual posture.
