Adventure Pack

We met a number of friendly dogs on the trail today, and one dog who was a bit less friendly and growled as he passed by.  Coco, Benny, Milo, Rucksack, and Roger Roger were all very well behaved and friendly themselves.  About halfway through the hike we passed a dead rabbit on the trail and Coco and Benny had a hard time fighting their urge to check it out but ultimately listened when I told them to leave it.  Roger Roger enjoyed nibbling and licking Milo's ears every now and then as they walked side-by-side and Milo didn't seem to mind the attention.

Play Pack

Thompson was a social butterfly today, going up to any group of dogs he saw and getting acquainted.  His energy was pretty mellow, except for when he greeted one dog with whom he had a negotiation about who could stand more proud and upright while nudging each other back and forth.  Mama found a friend in an energetic Pit Bull who ran around with her in back-and-forth chases.  Benny had a couple brief spurts of playful leaping and dodging when other dogs were playing near him and he wanted to be involved.
