Adventure Pack
After some work in the beginning of the hike, we had everyone walking in a tight group even when Rucksack and Milo were off the leash. They made a great example for Coco and Roger Roger, who were both still a bit too scattered and excited to stay close without the leashes on. We met a few friendly dogs along the way and the pack went from rushing and swarming around the unfamiliar dog to casually sniffing and hanging out by the last dog we met. It was great to see the progress in the course of one hike.
Play Pack
Sputnik and Isaac ran around at high speed together when we first got to the park. Later on, they both enjoyed playing fetch. Meanwhile, Benny and Thompson took it easy, periodically coming over to me for a good scratch. When they came to me together, I wrestled them around a bit to try to get them going with each other. Benny caught on and tried to get Thompson to play but Thompson wasn't interested today. When we hung out with a group of park regulars for a bit, Thompson seemed hesitant to join the circle, so it seems he's still getting used to being at the dog park.
