Adventure Pack

Sputnik and Roger Roger got a chance to let all their puppy energy out together on the trails today.  Roger Roger chased after Sputnik, who always kept a good lead until he'd turn around and the two of them would have a brief face off.  Then, Roger Roger would dive for Sputnik and Sputnik would tackle him, hop around him, and then take off running again.  They had a great time together.  Later on, Benny and Rucksack explored together but Rucksack was wandering a bit far and not responding very readily when called so he went back on the leash.  Then Benny and Oliver were off leash together and both trotted right along at my side or behind me and quickly fell back into position whenever they stared to get ahead and I called them back.

Play Pack

Benny tested the play waters with his new packmate Thompson by nosing and pawing at him and the two of them proceeded to have a brief, light wrestle.  Coco played some fetch, as usual.  She also met a big Malamute (mix, I think) whom Thompson befriended last week.  She was intimidated by the Malamute's size and yelped out sheer nervousness a few times when the two of them were circling around each other and sniffing.  She eventually got more comfortable, though, and the two of them ran around side-by-side.
