Mogul, Misha, and Sophia went on an off-leash hike in Chautauqua this morning.  Mogul's tendency to lag behind a bit was more pronounced without a leash on, as he was pretty consistently about 5 yards back from me for most of the hike - until the the end of our return trip when he would go up ahead, turn back and wait, and then go up ahead again.

Misha and Sophia stuck around me most of the time, but a little more than halfway through the hike Misha saw a chipmunk and darted off after it with Sophia close behind her, so I had to leash them for the remainder of the hike.  They had fun roaming about while they were off-leash before that, though, and they both still seemed happy sticking by my side after I leashed them.

The park was full of dogs today.  Marley chased around an energetic English Setter.  She, Chelsea, and Buzz all had a good time chewing at one another's faces.  Mogul chased a ball around a bit but mostly layed down at my feet.  I think the hike was a little more tiring for him than our usual walks.  As we left the park, Chelsea and Marley got in one more good wrestle on the way to the gate - this is becoming a typical routine for them.
