Adventure Pack

Today the pack was much more patient and did a great job of walking together.  We took a few breaks for everyone to sniff around off the sides of the trails.  Sputnik, Roger Roger, and Rucksack were all happy to take the opportunities; Benny was also interested though not quite as enthusiastic as his packmates; Oliver stayed on the trail and waited until we were ready to keep moving.

Play Pack

Thompson is getting more comfortable with me and his packmates and stuck closer by today instead of wandering off on his own.  Coco, Benny, and Mama all started off in a very playful mood and the three of them had a Mexican standoff as each bowed, poised to burst into a chase after another.  Mama broke the standoff by hopping in between Benny and Coco and then they all ran around in circles together for a while.  Later on, a dog named Otis who befriended some pack members last week came over to Thompson and tried to get him to play, though Thompson just sniffed him and then let him go on his way.  Otis then found Coco and the two of them had a big run together.
