Adventure Pack

Rucksack and Roger Roger rejoined the pack today with Benny, Oliver, and Sputnik as we explored the trails at the undeveloped land of the CU South Campus.  We saw a couple horses in the distance but never crossed paths with them, though we did see plenty of dogs again today.  It took a little effort to get everyone back on the same page of walking together but by the end everyone was doing a very good job.  The whole pack enjoyed a couple water breaks.  Roger Roger has really taken to drinking out of the Camelbak spout quickly.  I guess he just follows his older brother's example.

Play Pack

We had a new pack member's first pack outing today - Thompson!  Thompson is a big 8-year-old Husky who is very sweet and mellow.  He was somewhat indifferent about greeting Benny and Coco when we picked him up.  He seemed totally comfortable but not especially interested in his new packmates besides a couple brief sniffs.  At the park he wandered around as we walked the perimeter while Benny followed behind me and Coco chased tennis balls.  Thompson was very interested when a huge Malamute showed up at the park and stuck around his new friend for a bit.  Hopefully we'll get a little more playful energy out of him once he gets more familiar with the pack.
