Mogul snuck his head up onto the armrest in the packmobile again this morning.  I snapped a picture of him this time - he was so adorable!

It's muddy out as the snow is melting, but Chelsea and Mogul had a lot of fun playing in the snow that's still left on the ground.  They both love to play catch with snowballs made from it, dive around in it, eat it, and sometimes just bury their faces in it!

Chelsea was followed around for our entire visit by a dog that looks just like our pack member Marley, except brown instead of black (and male).  He danced around her and bumped her around to get into a chase or a wrestle, which she indulged him in almost without pause.  Lots of play for Chelsea today!

Mogul was also very active today.  Snow on the ground always seems to do a good job of getting him into a playful mood.  He joined in with Chelsea and the other dog here and there, and also chased around a high-energy puppy for a while.  He also saw Charlie, a black lab mix with whom he has an interesting dynamic.  Charlie is VERY deferential to Mogul, and lies down most of the time when Mogul approaches him.  Mogul invites him to play with spin moves and playful nips, but Charlie gets scared.  Mogul nipped him a little too hard on the butt when they were chasing a few weeks ago and got a yelp out of him, so I think that's the source of Charlie's timidness.  Mogul obviously wants to be his playmate - he'll just need to be a little less nippy to let Charlie get comfortable.
