Leader of the Pack

Mogul and Chelsea took their usually positions during the walk today - Mogul hanging back a bit on my right side and Chelsea up next to me on the left - until the latter part of the walk when Mogul decided to pull up and walk right at my side.  He got a little spooked by the rumbling of a train above as we went through an underpass, which I think inspired him to stick a little closer to the pack.

There was a big Bernese Mountain Dog at the park that Mogul acted very puppy-like around - back slightly hunched and ears back, but tail wagging while he licked at the big dog's face.  It was cute to see him acting so young - I posted a picture of it in this month's photo album.  The Bernese wasn't interested in playing, though, and wandered off after greeting and being greeted by all the dogs.  Mogul spent most of the rest of the time lying in the sun with a smile.

Chelsea rolled around with Buzz as they were both vying for a toy that was two mini tennis balls connected by a bar in the shape of a dumbbell.  Buzz has a tendency to be overzealous in guarding his toys, but with Chelsea the two of them seem to just use 'fighting' over a toy as an excuse to roll around and paw at one another affectionately.
