Adventure Pack

Roger Roger joined his brother Rucksack in the pack today as we walked the Boulder Creek Path starting at the west end of town.  Roger Roger did a great job of sticking alongside his packmates and staying on a loose leash throughout our walk.  His brother Rucksack required occasional reminders to slow down a bit and stop trying to get ahead.  Milo, Benny, and Coco all walked very well.  As we went, Roger Roger sidled up to each of his packmates to get acquainted - first Benny, then Milo, then Coco.  When we stopped to take a picture, Coco lied down next to Roger Rgoer and Roger Roger layed his head down on her front paws.  Coco then rolled over and writhed around in the grass for a couple minutes before settling down enough to take a nice picture of the group.  Milo got a bit ansy waiting and stood up a few times but sat right back in place each time when I said his name.

Play Pack

Mia met a brindle-coated, 1-year-old pup with whom she really had a blast.  The two of them wrestled around and took turns flopping onto their back to let the other pretend to pin them.  Then, they were both wiggling around on their backs, gnawing on each other's faces.  It was the epitome of puppy cuteness.  Meanwhile, Yoda and Benny were just hanging out and following me as I walked the park.  Then a huge dog who looked like a Mastiff mixed with a Rhodesian Ridgeback showed up and Yoda took an interest in him.  Yoda let out his enthusiasm in occasional spurts of running and dodging, although the big dog just watched.  Mia chased after Yoda for a brief run.  Benny dipped into a big play-bow once when I started walking toward him slowly like a stalking dog.
