Marley met Chelsea in the packmobile today with play bows and tons of energy again. The two of them played together a lot at the park. Marley also found an Australian Shepherd to play with her for a while. She hasn't been coming over to me to check in as frequently this week, as she's getting more familiar and comfortable with the park and all the other dogs that are there. She roams the whole area, heading toward any other playing dogs so she can get in on the fun!
Chelsea became very interested in another dog's ball at one point. She wasn't fast enough to outrun the other dog when the ball was thrown, so she'd just wait for her to come back and then she'd nose her and watch her closely, waiting for a moment when the other dog would put down the ball and stop paying attention for a second. Unfortunately for Chelsea, the other dog never gave her that chance.
By the end of our park visit, Chelsea and Marley were bothing lying down - Marley under a picnic table and Chelsea in front of the dog with the ball she wanted. The weather was beautiful, and all that playing in the sun really tired them out!
