Adventure Pack

We met up with our old packmate Wesley and his dad Todd on the trails today!  Coco and Benny were both extremely excited to greet their friend.  The two of them wiggled uncontrollably while nosing and licking at Wesley's face, as Wesley stood in the middle enjoying all the attention.  Milo and Wesley don't know each other so they weren't as worked up about saying hello, but they were pleasant with one another.  We stuck to the lower trails that run near the creek and everybody had a blast in the water, especially Coco, Wesley, and Milo.  It was great to see our old packmate for part of our hike!

Play Pack

Oscar had his last pack outing today as he is heading for the East Coast next week.  He and Mia chased around that ball-within-a-ball toy for much of our visit.  At one point, Mia ran around between the dogs with it and got several of them, including Yoda, into chasing her around for a brief stint.  There was an American Bulldog at the park who was very interested in Oscar and pt hovering over him.  Oscar wasn't happy about having a shadow and chased the Bulldog away a few times.  One time, Yoda and a park regular named Buzz were right next to Oscar and they backed Oscar up with a couple barks at the Bulldog to express their disapproval of his hovering behavior.  All the while, Benny lied in the shade, tuckered out from his exciting meet-up with Wesley earlier on.
