Adventure Pack

Sputnik was a bit over-eager to get going today, both when I first picked him up and when we first hit the trails.  He practiced patience as Rucksack and Oliver enjoyed the stream off leash while he and Benny had to stay calm.  Oliver hung out with Benny and Sputnik, not venturing much past the edge of the water but Rucksack splashed around and had a good time.  Later on, when Sputnik and Benny had their turn off leash, Sputnik discovered a tennis ball.  He dropped it on a hillside and then ran down after it, brought it part-way back up and dropped it again, then chased it down the hill again, and repeated several times until he ended up in the stream and forgot about the ball.

Play Pack

Coco chased tennis balls and an old foorball at the park today.  She impressively caught the football mid-air most of the times I threw it to her.  I tried to get Oscar excited about the tennis ball too but hasn't been that into it lately.  However, later on I waved a stick around in front of him and gave it to him and then he paraded around with it for wuite some time, dodging and woofing whenever I or anyone else came near.  Mama also paraded around with a stick for a bit.  Coco came over to check it out and then they both put it down on the ground between them.  A new park friend named Buckley came over and snatched it out from under their noses and then they gave up on it.  Benny followed me as I walked around the park and he had a couple playful stand-offs with other dogs who came over to say hello.
