Adventure Pack

Benny and Oliver took their time as we made our way up the Saddle Rock during their turn off the leash.  They hung behind, sniffing out stories and then hurrying to catch up in between.  On the way down, Rucksack and Sputnik played with each other.  Today, it was Sputnik who found a stick, which was soon stolen away by Rucksack.  A chase ensued.

Benny's new friend Buckley was at the park again, and today Benny was a bit more firm in his responses when Buckley tested him by leaning his head over Benny's shoulder or putting a paw up on his back.  They had fun wrestling around and testing each other's boundaries as they mouthed at one another's faces and tackled each other, all with a certain degree of poise and deliberation.  Meanwhile, Mama chased Oscar as he fetched a tennis ball for a while.  Mama also had a playful burst of energy and ran around through the dogs who were hanging out in the shade, spinning circles and dodging from side to side even though she generated only passing curiosity from the other dogs.
