The Adventure Pack

Rucksack carried a stick briefly on the trails today but gave up on the extra work pretty quickly.  Isaac, on the other hand, tried to haul an entire downed tree trunk and spent a few minutes at it before finally relenting and grabbing up a more manageable stick to carry for the rest of the hike.  Wesley and Benny were both just interested in moving from shady spot to shady spot as we made our way through the Chautauqua today.  Everyone enjoyed a stop at the creek by the Gregory Canyon trailhead.

The Play Pack

Mia was the most energetic of the pack at the dog park today.  She chased frisbees, climbed a tree, and dragged around some fallen branches.  Meanwhile, Benny, Milo, and Oscar were all relaxing in the shade.  Oscar brought a tennis ball over and we had a brief round of fetch and Milo got up to bark at people in the distance a few times, but otherwise everyone was just trying to keep cool.
