The Adventure Pack

Sage and Wesley stuck close by while they were off leash on the Flatiron Loop today.  They lingered at some spots to get a thorough sniff and then jogged side-by-side to catch up with the rest of us.  Coco and Rucksack were feeling more rambunctious and chased each other around later on in the hike.

The Play Pack

Sputnik is still a bit shy about all the unfamiliar dogs at the dog park and when we first arrived he just went from human to human to feel safe when other dogs said hello.  He gave lots of kisses and had one buddy who followed him around a bit.  He also played with his packmates Benny and Milo - both of whom were briefly amused and then decided they didn't want a puppy in their face anymore and walked away.  Oscar has been much calmer in the large majority of his greetings with other dogs, although he still sometimes gets caught up in barking at people.  I'm addressing this by interrupting him, having him follow me away from the person, and then have him sit in a brief time-out.  He doesn't go back after that although sometimes, later on, he finds someone else to bark at and we repeat the lesson.
