The Adventure Pack

We practiced on leash walking on the trail today and everyone did exceptionally well.  Sage and Wesley were right in line from the beginning of the hike throughout.  Coco and Rucksack started off with a bit of pulling, but they eased off as I kept reminding them to stay by my side by occasionally giving a whislte and then stopping and taking several steps back so they had to turn around and follow me.  It took some time and repititions, but after a bit they spent most of the hike trotting along calmly at my side.

The Play Pack

Oscar had another day of great greetings and calm energy at the park today.  He had a great run with another dog his size, and the two of them were joined by a little terrier.  Before their run, Oso had the attention of the terrier, who was jumping all over him as he dodged and hip-checked the little guy playfully.  He was very gentle.  Benny had a great time dancing and wrestling with a Golden Retriever who had a great energy to get Benny feeling comfortable and playful.  Milo went on a short run with another dog early on and spent the rest of the time following me around the park as we walked the perimeter.
