The Adventure Pack

Sputnik and Sage joined today's adventure.  They typically come out different days and hadn't met each other before but they made fast friends and had a great time romping around the trails.  Benny and Rucksack had their own fun chasing each other when it was their turn off-leash.  Rucksack found a big hunk of stick that had both Benny and Sputnik gnawing at its ends to try to take it from their packmate.  Near the end of our hike, we came across a few other friendly dogs and lingered for a few minutes so everyone could get acquainted.

The Play Pack

Mia found several playmates to wrestle and run with.  One of her playmates was a chocolate Lab who teased her with a tennis ball by chewing it in her face and letting her mouth at it while he held it - just like Coco always used to do with Benny.  Milo also found several playmates.  There was one big, mostly black-coated mix-breed with whom Milo had a good run and then a bit of a wrestle.  Later, he jogged along with Oscar, Mia, and some other playful pups they had stirred up.  And afterwards, Milo and Benny had a snuggle-wrestle that involved Milo rolling around on his back while Benny play-bowed in front of him, all while they rubbed faces and mouthed at each other affectionately.
