The Adventure Pack

The thawing ice along the Bear Creek Path must have been gving off some very interesting smells, because Sputnik, Benny, and Rucksack kept leaning over with their noses out as we walked alongside it.  Oliver was less interested in the smells than his packmates, as usual.  He trotted along just behind me, distracted only when other dogs passed by us.

The Play Pack

Benny played a little bit of catch today.  He flaunted the ball and wagged his tail after each time he caught it - or just when he chased it down after missing it in the air; but he wasn't interested in going for the ball if it wasn't thrown right to him.  Coco, on the other hand, chased tennis balls down as far as I could throw them with the aid of my Chuck-it.  Oscar has been extra spunky at the park lately, and today he had a 160lb English Mastiff holding a down-stay for him just by occasionally running over and giving a bark in his face when the big guy started to get up.
