The Adventure Pack

Sputnik, Benny, and Rucksack were all interested in chewing on bits of mulch in the parking lot when we first set off.  To set the tone, I asked everyone to sit and leave the mulch alone before heading on.  Oliver had a passing curiosity about what had his packmates so tickled but he just gave a sniff and then waited for everyone to be ready for the hike.  Along the trails, Sputnik did a very good job of treating his packmates with respect and only occasionally tested the consequences of gnawing an elbow - which consisted of groans and sometimes whines of protest - to which he responded by backing off and continuing to hike along..

The Play Pack

Coco and Benny were in romping moods today and spent a good while chasing around with each other and a few other dogs.  Oscar Chose to zero in on the two biggest dogs in the park and tried to join their wrestling by bouncing off their hindquarters and barking.  They didn't even notice him and I called him over to play some fetch instead.
