The Adventure Pack

Coco and Rucksack did a great job of walking at my side today - a great improvement from yesterday.  Wesley and Sage were also very well behaved and walked nicely in place throughout our hike along the Mesa trail.  Rucksack found a short chunk of wood to carry along the way for a bit, then dropped it in the middle of the trail.  On the way back, we passed over it and he picked it back up for a minute before leaving it behind again.  His packmates were uninterested in his find.

The Play Pack

Oso met a big, silver-coated dog that looked part Great Dane and the two of them played for a while.  They had some boxing matches where they both stood up on their rear legs and pushed at each other with their front paws.  Oso's friend was even bigger than him and Oso ended up getting pushed over most of the time.  The rest of the time, he hopped away and spun around playfully.  Oscar played a bit of fetch today and spent some time wandering around with a couple other small dogs.  For the first time in weeks, Benny and Milo didn't end up having a wrestling match.  They were both content just to follow me around the park and get pet by various people who were more than happy to oblige.
