The Adventure Pack
It was very slippery out today. Many of the rocks had a thin layer of ice coating them. At one point, Toskey lost her footing and her butt slipped out from under her. I was especially insistent on Rucksack staying at my side or behind me whenever we came to rocky areas, because he tends to pull ahead a lot of the time and any unexpected tugs on the leash could have been difficult to deal with given the state of the terrain. Toskey and Coco had fun chasing each other when they were off leash together on our way up the trail. Benny and Rucksack had at least as much fun doing the same on our way back down.
The Play Pack
Everyone was very playful at the park today! It wasn't very busy, but the pack had lots of fun amongst themselves and with a couple of the other dogs there. Isaac and Milo ran around together a bit. Later on, Milo and Benny had a good wrestle, as they've made a habit of doing. Oscar and Milo ran around together, too. And Benny and Oscar had their own bout of wrestling. Isaac and Oscar both sprinted around the park with a couple other dogs, though Isaac spent most of the visit in a seamless cycle of fetching. He would run back with the ball, loop around just behind me, drop the ball, and already be on his way out to fetch the next throw.
