The Adventure Pack

Oliver led the way for a while when I first let him off leash while Rucksack brought up the rear with a small log in tow.  Sputnik calmed down and fell into the groove of hiking together much more quickly today.  Within the first 10 minutes he had entirely stopped trying to chew on Rucksack and Benny's legs.  He got a little more rambunctious again later on when he saw Rucksack wandering around with the freedom of being off leash, though, and took out his frustration by gnawing on Benny to try to get him to play.  It reminded me a lot of the way Coco often behaves in similar circumstances.

The Play Pack

Maebe had an accident in the car on the way to the park, and it was messy.  So we took a detour to my place where I let the dogs play in the yard while I cleaned up the mess.  Oscar found a tennis ball and played keep-away with it.  Benny led his own game of keep-away with a piece of rawhide that he was really excited about.  Coco and Maebe just chased each other around.  Maebe seemed to be feeling fine afterwardsas she ran with her packmates - something just must not have agreed with her tummy.
