The Adventure Pack

Usually the pack walks in two files, one on either side of me.  For part of today's hike, Coco, Benny, Toskey, and Rucksack were all walking side-by-side to my right and I was struck by what an impression they made all together like that.  It didn't last very long, though, because everyone wanted to go in different directions today.  Eventually we fell back into our usual pattern, with Coco to my left and Toskey behind her, Rucksack to my right and Benny behind him.

The Play Pack

Mia was full of energy today and found several playmates, including two 6-month old puppies.  The three pups had a great time rolling around, pinning each other, and chewing on each other's ears, faces, and legs.  Benny met a chocolate Lab who he followed around a bit.  Benny tried bowing, pawing, and nosing him to get him to play, but the Lab was more interested in chasing balls than wrestling with Benny.  Speaking of chasing balls, Milo got pretty interested and fetched a tennis ball with me a few times today.  He also went for a little run as we were walking around the park at one point, instead of just sticking to his usual mosey-along pace.
