The Adventure Pack

Rucksack, Benny, Oliver, and I had a very relaxing hike today.  The weather was cool but not chilly - perfect for hiking in.  The pups were all calm and very well behaved.  Benny and Oliver spent most of the hike off leash and were both very good about coming to me when I called.  Benny and Rucksack both carried small sticks for a little while.  Numerous other hikers commented today on the extreme variety between our three pack members.  One said they looked like they belonged in a Disney movie.

The Play Pack

Maebe and Coco alternated fetching as usual while Oscar and Benny made friends with other nearby dogs.  Later on, a little boy threw the ball for Maebe, who did a really incredible job of bringing the ball back to him, dropping it, and waiting for him to throw it again - often sitting patiently.  By the time that family left, Maebe seemed like she was ready to go home with them.  There was another Ridgeback at the park who was very interested to sniff Benny, but surprisingly Benny barely even noticed her.
