The Adventure Pack

Rucksack decided to give stick-carrying another go on today's hike.  He grabbed one near the top of the First Flatiron and brought it all the way down to the car - however, it was much more reasonably sized than his usual finds.  Benny tried to steal it away from his packmate a couple times but to no avail; Wesley and Coco weren't interested.  Different pack members draw the most attention from passers-by on different days.  Today, someone told Wesley he was the cutest of the pack as he walked over and sat in front of them.  Coco was good about greeting strangers - she didn't show any of the apprehension she's sometimes had in the past.

The Play Pack

Milo and Mia both had their second pack outings today, and both seemed more comfortable from the start.  Mia didn't hesitate to follow me to the car when I picked her up and instantly took off to greet other dogs when we arrived at the park.  Milo was equally eager to come to the car and see his packmates.  At the park, Benny nibbled on Milo's cheek for a minute and then the two of them went for a little run together.  Benny broke off quickly but Oscar joined in and chased Milo for a good spurt.  Another Ridgeback showed up at the park and Benny was instantly drawn to him.  The two of them had a good bout of wrestling and hopping around one another.  Meanwhile, Mia was tumbling around with a lab puppy and a dog who looked like a younger version of Milo.
