The Adventure Pack

We met with several squirrels today, including one who boldly waited by the path until we were only a couple yards away, at which point Wesley and Rucksack both leapt forward with high intensity.  Later on, even Benny was alerted by a squirrel hanging out in a tree that we passed.  Oliver didn't seem particularly agitated by the squirrels - maybe because they're just as big as him, though that doesn't stop him from wanting to run up to other dogs.

The Play Pack

Sage had some competition for the tennis ball today, at least when I threw it in the water.  There was a Golden Retriever who was a slightly faster swimmer and could hold two balls at once, and she snagged Sage's after getting her own a couple times.  Sage followed her back to shore and then looked around for a replacement until the other dog dropped both balls.  Benny walked out into the pond a couple times, but not quite as deep as he had gone last week.  Oscar wasn't interested when I tried throwing a ball for him early on, but toward the end of our visit he went nuts for it.  In between, he was occupied by lots of chasing with bigger dogs, as usual.
