The Adventure Pack

There were no deer or even squirrels to be spotted on today's hike.  Sage flopped down in the stream we passed and just lied in the middle of it, letting the current wash over her.  Meanwhile, Wesley stood still next to her.  Even though Wesley doesn't lie down, his belly still gets soaked because his long fur hangs in the water and sucks it right up.  I told Benny to sit while he was standing in the stream with his packmates and he began to oblige; but the moment his butt touched the water he hopped back up and furrowed his brow, as if to let me know he wasn't amused by the trick.

The Play Pack

Sage spent the whole time fetching a tennis ball, either in the water or on dry land.  Oscar chased down a few balls, too, but wasn't keen on bringing them back today.  Oscar went nuts nibbling on Benny's legs today but Benny just walked along as if he didn't even notice his little packmate trying his hardest to rile him up.
