The Adventure Pack
Wesley was on alert when he saw squirrels off the path a couple times as we walked, but that was nothing compared to his reaction when we came by a family of deer; Sage was equally wired. The deer were hanging out just yards from the path and watched us intently as we passed. Sage and Wesley both needed to stop and sit several times because they both wanted to bolt for the deer. Meanwhile, the family just stared at us without flinching.
The Play Pack
The pointer pup named Auggie who we met recently was at the park and tried to get Benny to play with him again. He jumped all over him and pawed at him, and eventually got Benny to sniff and nudge him around a little, but that was it. His efforts caught Oscar's attention, though, and he came over to wrestle a bit in between racing with other dogs around the park. Meanwhile, Sage was hooked on fetching. There was one playful pup who looked a lot like her but a bit bigger and with some white markings in addition to the tan; and Sage hopped around with her briefly but quickly decided the ball was more important.
