The Adventure Pack
Wesley and Sage made several pit stops in the stream that intermittently crosses the Red Rocks trails, and waded around up to their shoulders together. Sage was quite comfortable with the people we passed on the trails; she didn't duck away or skirt around them like she used to do pretty regularly. Wesley was, of course, happy to greet passers-by - including a Great Dane who we came upon on our way back. They had a brief but friendly sniff before both parties continued on.
The Play Pack
Oso spent much of our park time in the nook at the far end of the park, along the shore and shrouded and trees. I can't blame him - he must be hot and it's easily the coolest part of the park. Benny, Sage, and Oscar joined us there for a bit. Sage swam for tennis balls; Benny stood around, occassionally looking over at me and gently wagging his tail; Oscar poked around and then decided to head over to where all the other park patrons were hanging out. Later on, a curious yellow Lab puppy showed up and he and Oso followed each other around for a while, sniffing at all the same spots together. Oscar and Sage went for a run side-by-side together. I was surprised Oscar was able to convince Sage to run with him instead of staring at her tennis ball, but Oscar can be very insistent.
