Benny stayed out of the water altogether today, but Sage and Oscar both had a swim.  Oscar did a lot of chasing with an active young Shepherd mix who played well with him.  Later, Oscar and Benny wreslted around, with Oscar dodging in and out between Benny's legs and darting all around him while Benny moved slowly, always several steps behind.  Meanwhile, Sage had a couple competitors who came and went while she was chasing down tennis balls.  I haven't seen another dog beat her to the ball in a flat out race yet.
