The Adventure Pack

Benny wasn't keen on moving very quickly today, but I was able to get him into a trot every once in a while by sort of jogging in place to make it seem like we had to run.  Reaching for the treat pouch also proved effective in getting him to catch up.  Oliver has been so much friendlier with passing dogs lately.  He did get a little wound up when one dog passed us today, but he just wiggled in place and pulled at the leash a little - no leaping up or barking.  I think he's going to make a lot more friendly acquaintances this way!

The Play Pack

Oscar's progress in swimming has improved every day.  Today, he swam well out into the pond several times to fetch tennis balls.  Benny is still very wary about his footing when he ventures out into the water, and mostly prefers to just get his legs wet and then return to dry land.  Oscar and Benny both made friends with a 1-year old Ridgeback whom I believe was named Nala.  She was very playful and ran alongside Oscar while he kept leaping up at her side; later, she did some dancing around with Benny, who was more animated with her than I've seen him be in a while.
