The Adventure Pack

The pack stayed on leash again today and practiced walking together and paying attention to their pack leader (me).  Chelsea and Rucksack again started out pulling ahead, but came around to walking at my side more quickly than yesterday - after about 20 minutes.  Benny was again lagging behind throughout the hike.  Oliver was in great position, to my side and just a little bit behind, for the entire time.  We passed over a creek where Rucksack usually likes to splash around but it was all dried up.

The Play Pack

Oscar chased tennis balls again today, but wasn't as keen about bringing them back as he ws yesterday.  I'm thinking he only brought them back to me yesterday because I was in the only spot of shade in the area and he really just wanted to get back there.  Chelsea and Benny both played catch, but neither had the drive to go chasing after the balls if I didn't throw them within a few feet of their mouths.  I herded Maverick along as we walked around the perimeter of the park to get everyone moving, and then afterwards he spent most of the time hanging out under a picnic table or checking out new arrivals at the park.
