The Adventure Pack

Sage was great off the leash again on today's hike.  She stays close and comes when I call her - perfect!  She got a bit nervous about other hikers, though, and took a wide route beside the trail when we passed them.  She's getting more used to drinking water from the Camelbak spout.  Benny and Oliver have both become pros at that.  It took Oliver a little more getting used to, but Benny has been a Camelbak drinker from day one.  Oliver took to following Sage around today, even though he usually does his own thing.  Benny stuck close to me throughout the hike.

The Play Pack

Maverick batted a ball around for a minute and then decided he'd rather hang out in the shade of a tree and get pet by humans.  Benny frolicked around with a German Shepherd but was kind of hesitant, as he often is with dogs even bigger than him.  The Shepherd kept bowing in front of Benny and nudging him playfully, while Benny stood with his legs stiff and his tail wagging slightly.  Every so often, Benny would jump up shift positions.
