The Adventure Pack

Lincoln joined the pack today - he's a park regular who Benny and Coco know very well.  When Coco and Lincoln were in the packmobile together, they wiggled around and rubbed their heads and shoulders all over each other.  Wesley and Benny both trotted along behind me for the entire hike.  The pack has had a bit of an issue with trying to drag me over to greet passing dogs lately, but today everyone stayed right by me and they greeted passers-by much more politely. 

The Play Pack

Benny and Oso both spent a lot of time hanging out in the shade today.  Lincoln chilled out in the shade as well, but also came out periodically to chase tennis balls.  He and Buzz had a good snuggle-wrestle and rolled around in the dirt until their black coats looked grey.  I momentarily thought Oso was going to fetch a ball because he perked up when he saw me holding it in front of him; but when I tossed it up and caught it to test his interest, he just looked away - unamused.  Benny met a yellow Lab who didn't react at all when Benny started to hump him before I made him get off.  Benny isn't usually isn't interested in dominating other dogs but he went back to the Lab a few times.
