The Adventure Pack
Sage has gotten totally comfortable with me and her packmates now and she got to enjoy being off leash on our hike for the first time today. She followed Rucksack all around - splashing in the stream, chasing him in circles around the trail, sniffing interesting spots along the way. Rucksack thoroughly enjoyed her tagging along with him, and gave her playful head-butts to get her attention and rile her into chasing him. Later on, Benny followed his nose off-trail a lot and I had to keep calling him back before he got lost in the thicker forested areas. Oliver led the way down the mountain.
The Play Pack
Oso joined us today and there were 2 other Burnese Mountain Dogs at the park! One was Benson, who we saw yesterday. The other one looked a lot like Oso, but with a narrower face, and was named Chance. Oso was more interested in a fluffy, white Samoyed, though, and followed him around for a long while. Coco was very into fetching today, but kept jumping up and trying to steal the ball out of the Chuck-It, so we took several breaks to teach her that she doesn't get the ball when she jumps on me for it. Oscar and Benny both wrestled around with Coco for the tennis ball as she flaunted it in their faces and rubbed her head and shoulders all over them to make sure they were paying attention.
