The Adventure Pack

Coco and Rucksack were off leash together for the first time in a while and they really made the most of it.  They love to chase each other, which is part of why I usually let them off separately - once they get going they sometimes don't listen to me and run way up ahead.  They stayed close today; but they still did a lot of running!  Wesley and Benny were much more mellow during their turn off leash together.  Wesley flopped down in some grass while Benny stood over him, sniffing, and that was about as wild as they got.

The Play Pack

Sage again spent almost the entire visit playing fetch.  She took a few breaks in the shade of a small tree, bringing the ball there with her instead of coming back and dropping it at my feet.  She's gotten much more comfortable coming out with me and her packmates and sits right at the door when I come to pick her up now (she still "woof"s quietly a few times, though she even did that when I dropped her off and rang the doorbell while she and I were standing outside.  She was woofing at herself at the door!).  Oscar tried to rile her up into a chase by sprinting by her and barking as he passed, but Sage ignored him.  Benny and Oscar have grown to love wrestling around with one another.  They lied under a picnic table and Benny nibbled at Oscar's face while Oscar jumped all over his head.  Meanwhile, Maverick lied down and let me scratch his belly today, although he grumbled and hopped up after Benny became interested and started looming over him.
