The Adventure Pack

Every so often, Wesley stops and picks a twig or two out of his abundant fur.  I watched him spend some time picking one out from his hindquarters today, and he was eventually successful.  Coco never has to pick twigs out of her fur like her packmate, but she spent a while in the packmobile licking her paws clean today.  Rucksack generally tends to collect even more debris than Wesley, but his recent haircut has left little fur for things to stick in and he didn't have any problems.

The Play Pack

Benny was more playful at the park today - it seems like his sore shoulder is feeling a lot better.  He chased Coco around for tennis balls and sticks throughout our park visit.  Coco is relentless with her teasing when she wants to play keep away.  She just walks up to Benny or Oscar and starts rubbing the ball or stick against their faces (while she's holding it in her mouth) until she gets their attention, which usually doesn't take long.  Maverick pounced at a tennis ball for a bit and he hung out closer to his packmates than usual for a lot of our time out.  Instead of sniffing around the permimeter of the park and hiding out under the stump, he stood right alongside the others and watched while Oscar and Coco rolled around on the ground and nibbled at each other's faces and Benny chewed on a twig that Coco let him win in a tug-of-war.
