The Adventure Pack

Wesley was right behind me for almost the entire hike, as he often is.  Rucksack was more of a wanderer, as he often is.  Coco stayed on the leash today because of her barking incident yesterday with a passing hiker.  She doesn't react to people that way at all when she's on leash but she seems to feel a need to let her pack know about anything she finds unusual when she's roaming about.  We'll take some more opportunities to introduce her to friendly people on the trails to help with her wariness.

The Play Pack

Benny was a bit more playful at the park than usual, probably because he took a break from the hike this morning.  He danced around with a yellow Lab mix who was about his size but a little bit thinner.  Oso found himself a puppy friend who desperately wanted his attention.  The pup is a Husky named Oberon who often plays with Oscar (which he also did today).  Oberon kept going over to Oso with a wiggle and his tongue licking at the air while Oso tried to dodge the annoying puppy kisses in his face.  In addition to playing with Oberon, Oscar also ran around with Rocky, a park regular, and Archie, a brown Dachshund who we met today.
